And, they are a bit of an investment with the printing costs and we also purchased some blank DVD covers for some DVDs whose boxes just didn’t fit the size/mold, but when the project was finished, it was worth it! We’ve since moved into a different house and all of our DVDs are on shelves in the upstairs den and I absolutely LOVE how organized and pretty they look! I mean, hardly anyone will ever see them, but it’s worth it just for me when I look at the shelves! I’m not going to lie to you, they take a bit of time to create with changing out the title and the director or main actor on both the front and the spine and then there’s the blurb on the back to write. We loved how vintage Penguin books came in an assortedment of colors for different book genres and how we could mimic the different genre colors for our movies such as pink for chick flicks or red for horror. So the Mister used his Photoshop skills and made me some Penguin Book DVD Covers. We loved how pretty our collection of vintage and antique books looked sitting on the opposite shelves grouped in rainbow colors, but the DVDs just looked … disorganized and ugly.
